The Reverend Monica Jefferson roots are in the inner city of St. Louis, Missouri
where she learned at an early age that lives are changed through people that care
and that all people matter to God. Pastor Monica's vision is to form connected
communities where people matter, find purpose, and serve God by making a
difference as followers of Jesus through faith and action.

She began serving local churches as a lay minister in 1988 and was licensed the summer of
1992. She graduated from St. Paul School of Theology, Kansas City, Missouri: COS - 1998 and
was ordained July 1999. Pastor Monica returns to St. Andrew United Methodist Church,
Florissant, Missouri, as the Senior Pastor.
